In John 10:10 it says that the thief comes to steal, kill, and to destroy. Who is this thief? John says the devil is a thief! God is not the thief, so why do we blame Him for the bad in our lives? 1 Peter 5:8 states “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour. It’s clear that the thief is the devil.
Verse 7 and 9 will help you in this fight against the devil. Remember, the later part of John 10:10 says that Jesus came to give us life. Amen and Amen
