“Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh the sins of the world.” John 1:29
In The Gospel article I said, “Sin is no longer a problem with God.” However, to many it might sound very problematic. In this article I’m going to deal with the sin problem as it relates to you and me. The old nature is sin nature. The Bible is very clear when it says that we all have sin and deserved death, and also that Jesus has taken away the sins of the world and gives us life eternal.
Before we go any further, let’s establish this fact. It wasn’t your acts of sin or your will that made you a sinner. Romans 5:15 states that by one man sin came into this world and there by pollutes all. Through Adam, we inherited a nature or a propensity to sin. This nature is what drives us to sin whether we like it or not.
Romans 7 calls it the law within our member. Our acts of sin are evidence that we have a problem, which is our nature. Romans 6 says that this sin nature is not subject to the Law of God. The only solution or cure for it is death.
Christ, the fullness of the Godhead, on the other hand, died once and brought salvation to mankind. In His death he reconciled the whole human race to God. Simply put, the wrath of God toward mankind is satisfied. (Hebrews 10:10-14)
In Christ Jesus, not only we receive forgiveness for our acts of sin (Acts 10:38) but we now, also have the ability to believe and receive a new nature. One that replaces our old nature, which is called the “old man.”
The only possible way for us to receive this new nature is through faith. We must receive Jesus through faith. This faith is in the Word because according to 1 Peter 1:23 the rebirth or this new nature is accomplished through the “incorruptible seed of the Word of God.”
Upon receiving this new nature, just as your old nature was prone to do evil, your new is opposite of the old. Just as you didn’t go out your way to sin, you were just evil; under the new you’re no longer focus on doing good to be saved, that is your nature.
Your job is to reassure yourself of your new nature and reckon that the old is dead. Galatians 2:20 empowers you with the life and the faith of Jesus. Proverbs 23:7 states “For as he thinketh in his heart, so he is” If you’re no longer sin conscious as your old nature, you’ll accidentally live a holier life than you could have planned it under the new nature.
Believe today that there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ. (Romans 8:1) For you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
Psalm 85:6As to the nature of that suffering, the bible is very clear. 2 Timothy 3:12 states that “All that will live Godly shall suffer persecution.” Indeed, persecution of any sort by the opponents of the Gospel is the suffering or the cross that Christ says a disciple of His must take on.

In 2 Corinthians 12:1-10 Paul speaks of a thorn in the flesh. There are two groups who use the thorn to prove either God doesn’t heal or doesn’t always heal. In verses 9and 10 of the same chapter, Paul speaks of infirmities. Because of that many believe that Paul must have been sick.
