The Seed of The Word

“..Behold, there went out a sower to sow.” Mark 4:3
“The seed is the Word of God.” Luke 8:11

The parables of the Sower is one of many parables that Christ taught by the Sea of Galilee to the multitude that followed him there. But what makes this parable so interesting is that it is the key that decodes every other hidden truths of God.

In fact Christ’s statement to the disciples: “Know ye not this parable? And how then will ye know all parables?” Mark 4:13, illustrates well this point. Since this is the first of a series of parables given that same day, Christ here was showing them the principles of the Kingdom of God and how it operates.

Likewise, if we are to be successful in the things of God today, we are to understand this important fundamental. In the Kingdom of God, the seed is likened unto the Word. Luke 8:11. This is a foundational principle in the Government of God for “By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made. And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.” Psalm 33:6. In addition, a host of other scriptures testifies to that fact.

“In the beginning was the Word and the word was with God and the Word was God. John1:1. “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” John1: 14. “By Him were all created.” 1 Corinthians 1:16 “Man shall not live by bread alone , but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4.

Just as in the spiritual, so it is in the natural. There can be no harvest without the sowing of seeds. Neither can there be in the fauna or the flora anything that doesn’t come from seeds. For instance, trees, grass, weeds, flowers, insects, human beings, etc.. are all from seeds and contain seeds as well.

However, sometimes seeds can be corrupted, resulting in defective outcome or even, seldom none at all; but in the Kingdom of God, the Seed or the Word is incorruptible. 1 Peter1: 23. There can be no hit or miss.

Furthermore, the Word according to Isaiah 55:11 always brings its intended result. That’s why in this parable the Seed or the Word is the constant. The four different grounds or hearts are the variables. Luke 8:12.

For example, one cannot expect to reap a harvest of carrots unless he planted carrot seeds. The same rule applies in the spiritual also. One cannot expect to receive healing unless he plants the seed or word of healing in his heart.

So, the basic operation of the Kingdom of God is the Word. Joshua success and prosperity in Joshua 1:8 was his constant meditation on the Book of the Law. Likewise our success and prosperity today is the same: incessant meditation on the Bible which is the sum total of the Word of God for our harvest.

Since all the promises or the Word of God are yea and amen, and the seed or the Word of God never fails, therefore, don’t pray for God to bless you, you’re already blessed Ephesians 1:3. Don’t pray for God to heal you, you’re already healed 1Peter 2:24. Don’t ask God to be with you, He dwells in you. John14:23.

Contrary to religion, the word mixed with prayer is what always delivers, not prayer alone. If God says it in His Word, it’s yours. Meditate on it in your heart and let it not depart from your mind until it materializes. God is not man that He should lie. Numbers 23:19.

Don’t beg God. In fact whatever your desire whether healing, prosperity, etc.., find the seed that corresponds to it in the Word , meditate on it and reap an abundant harvest.
