Unity in our faith in Jesus Christ is very important. We look around at any town in America and there are churches from all sorts of denominations on every corner.
A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. That's what Jesus said. We need to remember that, in this time and place, we preach Christ and Christ crucified. We stand on that message.
The Whole Counsel Of God
Perhaps, instead of taking the bible piecemeal, we might consider the whole counsel of His word? Just a thought. When we weigh a doctrine against the whole bible, we find that many doctrines are flimsy or unable to stand.
Throw 'em out. They aren't worth the division. Let's work together to get God's good news of being with Him forever in Jesus Christ out to as many as we can.
We just want to educate, not divide.
